Job Description
The Naples Players is seeking motivated, confident, and creative young theatre artists for their 2018 Summer Internship Program.  Interns will work closely with the professional full-time staff members mounting the 2018 summer season.  Qualified interns may also have the opportunity to assistant/fully design sets, costumes, lights, or sound for KidzAct, The Naples Players’ youth theatre (student ages 4-18), which present three productions from June to August.

The internship is approximately a 15 week program, with housing located walking distance to scenic, downtown Naples and the theatre.  Start dates are negotiable, end date is based on the strike of the final show in the summer season.

Positions available in scenic, lighting, sound, costumes, props, marketing, and/or educational theatre.

Requirements:
Minimum 18 years of age
Enrolled full or part time at a college or university OR recent graduate
Majoring/minoring in Theatre or Theatre Education
Minimum of 1 semester under Theatre degree
Basic knowledge in area of interest

The Naples Players is a one of the largest non-profit community theaters in the nation, located in scenic downtown Naples.  The Players produce 7 plays, 3 musicals, reader’s theatre, and multiple children’s shows every season.  It consists of a professional full-time staff with experience ranging from regional theatre to off-Broadway and international.  The Naples Players is devoted to their community and relies on the generous volunteers who eagerly participate in every department to create each season.
